

Joy Ann Williams age 81 passed away at home surrounded by her family and Harbor Hospice. Joy is survived by her husband of 61 years, Lyle A. Williams; four children Lyle D. (Trina) Williams of Muskegon, Michael D. (Pam) Williams, Sydney A. (Mike) Emerson and Julia Pringle; 6 grandchildren, Ryan T. Williams; Lyle D. Williams II, LeAnna (David) Swartz, Kimberly (Billy) Sheets, Bethany Bentley, Michael J. Emerson; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings Delores Hill, Barbara Ulrich, Dona Sabin, and Jack Parketon. Joy was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Gladys Parketon; son-in-law, Don Pringle; grandson, Adam Pringle; sisters, Leone LaBelle and Edith Look; brother, Tim Parketon and infant brother, Larry B. Parketon. She was the Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star, owner of American Handicrafts Store, and drove a school bus for Mona Shores Schools. Joy was the master organizer and cook for Colony Club’s monthly activity night and a member of the Lucerne Baptist Church both in Winterhaven, Florida. Her hobbies included crafts, keeping the feeder filled for her birds and family gatherings but most of all Bingo and fishing. She was also a member of Fruitport Congregational Church, 9 S. Eighth Ave., Fruitport where a Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Don Wood officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Harbor Hospice.
