Juanita A. “Nita” LaPorte age 82 passed away on May 25, 2012. Nita is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, Herbert; two daughters, Mary (Wally) Smith and Tina LaPorte; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister Jean (George) Lowe. She was preceded in death by a son, Herbert LaPorte III and a daughter, Corrine Beckwith; three brothers and a sister. Visitation will be held at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. According to her wishes cremation will follow the visitation.
