Judith was born in Milwaukee, WI on September 27, 1940 to Max and Lorraine Mayer. Older siblings, Richard and Carol preceded her in death.
Judy worked for Meijer for many years prior to retiring in Bradenton, FL the past 17 winters with Jim, where she was active in the painting club and bocce ball team. She was an avid quilter and a great cook, and will be remembered for her fun-loving personality and her life-long love of watercolor painting.
She was loved by many: husband Jim; daughter Cathleen Chabot (Myleen), son David Markgraf (Candy); grandchildren Quinton, Jaicee, Joselyn, and Nolan Markgraf, and Luna Skye; stepdaughter Theresa (Chris) Frey; grandchildren Angel Frey, Michael Frey, and Miranda Robinson; great grandchildren, Penelope and Hayden; and many more extended family and friends.
A memorial celebration of life will be held on her birthday, Sunday, September 27 2-5 pm. Location tbd.
