Julie Ann Norton

Julie Ann Norton, 64, passed away on January 28, 2023.
Julie was a 1978 graduate of Mona Shores High School. She went on to work for Kmart, thereafter she retired in 2001. She enjoyed spending time gardening-planting morning glories and hanging baskets. She was very artistic throughout her life and she loved ceramics, painting, and crochet. She was an animal lover and loved horses, cats, and cocker spaniel dogs. She liked to spend her free time in the kitchen and she loved to cook – especially biscuits and gravy and homemade Arby’s sandwiches. Julie was a kind and fun-loving woman who will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
Julie was preceded in death by: mother, Bonita Thompson; father, Oscar Norton; step-father, Roger Thompson; grandmother Abson; and niece, Shannon Norton.
Julie is survived by: siblings, Shirley (Charles) Williams, Marvin (Jill) Norton, and Steven (Becky) Norton; nieces, Jennifer (Johnathon) Jewett, and Ava Norton; nephews, Nick Norton, and Cody (Courtney) Norton; great niece, Olivia; great nephews, Laine, Hezekiah, Johnathon Jr., Maxx, and Remington; as well as, many other close friends and extended family.
In accordance with Julie’s wishes, cremation will take place and burial will happen in the spring. There are no public services planned at this time.
