June D. Schalk age 86, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2012. June is survived by her husband of 70 years, Robert “Bob” Schalk; 3 children, Kathy (Jack) Carlson, Charles (Judith) Schalk and Robert J. Schalk; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild and many friends at Sanctuary at the Oaks. She was preceded in death by a son, Jim Schalk in 1993. June enjoyed being a “home executive” preparing meals for her family and working in her garden. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012 at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ken Shady officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
