Mr. Kenneth R. Reynolds, age 91, passed away Thursday afternoon, March 7, 2013. He was born Sept 26, 1921 in Kentucky but was raised with his family in Illinois. After serving in the army overseas during WW2 he moved to Muskegon and attended Muskegon Business College. While in school he met his wife, Doris Dunham. They were married on August 11, 1946. In 1948, Ken established the Muskegon office of Brinks, Inc. where he was the manager and worked in all of Western Michigan. He served on the school board for Laketon Schools and as a member was active in its consolidation with Reeths-Puffer. Ken then served on the Reeths-Puffer School Board after the consolidation. When the children were through school, Ken accepted a transfer with Brinks to Cleveland, Ohio. He finally retired as manager from the Brinks office in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ken and Doris lived several years in Florida before declining health brought them back to Muskegon and family in 2010 to reside at Sanctuary at the Oaks. Ken loved to play golf and was happy and proud that his two sons also liked to play and were good at it. He had happy memories of all their time together. He is survived by his wife, Doris; daughter Dolores (Bud Pierce); son, Dan (Marie) of Muskegon. In 2005, he was preceded in death by his son, David (survived by Valerie Reynolds).
