Larry was the beloved son of Leigh E Strickland and Ida L. Strickland, both of whom preceded him in death. He is loving remembered by his sisters; Linda Korp, Louise Cook and Leta Wilcoxson along with many nieces and their families.
A man of quiet demeanor and warm spirit, Larry was known for being shy yet friendly to those around him. His love for music was a defining part of his life. He had a deep appreciation for rock and roll and expressed his passion through playing the drums in two different bands. Whether preforming or simply listening to his favorite tunes, music brought him joy and connection.
Larry also found delight in the magic of Disney movies, which he enjoyed throughout his life. Another source of happiness for him was motorcycle riding – a pastime that gave him a sense of freedom and adventure. He also loved his animals. He volunteered /worked with the 4H club for many years.
Though soft-spoken, Larry left a lasting impression on those who knew him through his kindness and unique interests. May his memory bring comfort to all who shared in his journey.
A private family moment will be held at a later date.
