Linda spent 31 loving years with her best friend and husband, Robert Lee Pummel. Together, they were devoted members to the First Congregational Church. She was also a member of the Unity First Reformed Church throughout her life. She worked for formerly Heartland Health Care Nursing Home, now SKLD Healthcare, for 7 years, and she served as a crossing guard for the Muskegon Police Department for 19 years. Linda was blessed with a talent for music. She had a beautiful singing voice that she used as a part of the White Lake Festival Choir in Whitehall, Michigan for 19 years, and at a time, singing for over 5,000 people at the LC Walker Arena. As well as her knack for singing, she was gifted with playing accordion, the flute, and the bells.
Linda is survived by her husband, Robert Pummel, her three children, Robert "Bob" Pummel Jr., Kim Pummel, and Tammie Pummel, 4 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
Linda was described as an angel and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Memorial Service for Linda is scheduled for Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 12noon at the First Congregational Church U.C.C., 1201 Jefferson St, Muskegon, MI 49441, officiated by Pastor Tim Vanderhaar.
