

Lisa was born November 17, 1962, the daughter of James and Wytonya Bennett. She was blessed with four sons in her life but was considered a mom to countless others. She worked as a home health aid, and cleaned homes and business offices. Lisa enjoyed cruising around town in her T-top Camaro listening to Bob Seger, family gatherings, cooking her famous fried pork chop dinner, and her diet coke. She was a proud American and enjoyed bartending at the VFW. She also loved animals. She was a determined, tough woman who fought and won many health battles in her life. It wasn’t until her last 8 month battle that she just couldn’t win. She was a free-spirit and had a heart of gold. Lisa could always find a was to make a good time a great time and cored more about those around her than herself. She will be deeply missed.
Lisa is survived by: her children, Ryan (Stephanie) McCormick, Nathan McCormick, and Brandon Smith; grandchildren, Emma, Brooke, Breann, and Brandon Jr.; 3 brothers; 8 sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her son, Timothy; parents; and daughter-in-law, Ida Smith.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place and a Celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
