Llewellyn "Bill" West

Llewellyn “Bill” West, age 77, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2014. Bill was born in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania on February 14, 1937. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for four years. Bill retired from Free Spirit Enterprise and Fredericks Construction after 35 years. He enjoyed many things like bingo, going to movies, and coaching in his younger years. He was a loving husband, grandfather, great grandfather, son and an avid dog lover. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Dixie (Burns) West; mother, Bertha Boswell; children: Yogi, Trena Johnson, James (Kelly) West; grandchildren: Andrew (Amanda) Streit, Nathan (Heather) Streit, Stacey (Stevie) Streit, Jared West; great grandchildren: Zander, Jakson, Jayce (aka Jake), Gabriel (aka Gabe). He was preceded in death by his father, James Boswell. A funeral service will take place at 1:00pm on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Ever Rest Funeral Home & Chapel (1783 E. Keating Ave., Muskegon). The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00pm and again on Thursday, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 12:00pm. Interment at Norton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the family in loving memory of Bill.
