Louise Ann Holmes, passed away at home on October 25, 2011. She was born Louise Ann Olsen on December 28, 1940 in Newaygo to the late Auther and Yvonne (Cornell) Olsen. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Don Holmes; a daughter, Angel and infant son Chris. She is survived by three sons, Chuck Schaefer, of White Cloud, William “Bill” Schaefer, of Muskegon, and Don Holmes, of Muskegon; 7 grandchildren, Angel, Charles, Cody, Travis, Little Don, Nicholas, and Billy; and 4 great-grandchildren, Damian, Nico, Nicole and Brysen; her sister, Betty Cole. She was employed at Michigan Plastic, JSJ, where she was very active in the Union. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
