After growing up in Onaway, Michigan Marge moved to Muskegon in 1962. That fall she met Richard when he fixed her car in Meijer Thrifty Acres’ parking lot and within a year they were married.
She and Rich raised their children, Sean and Deb, in Grand Haven. While living there Marge also advocated for special education students and enjoyed playing bingo at the VFW.
After moving back to the Muskegon area, she enjoyed reading, gardening, and cooking for friends and family.
You could always find Marge in her kitchen, cup of coffee in hand, ready to listen, laugh and encourage all her family and friends.
She has left behind her husband Richard, of 55 years, her children and grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of life for Marge at the North Muskegon Walker Community Center, 409 Stewart St., Saturday March 2nd from 1 to 4 p.m.
