Mari Jayne Frisbie, known as Jayne age 82, passed away peacefully at her home on January 15, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 19, 1942, in Muskegon, Michigan, to Eldon and Gussie (Rudicil) Frisbie.
Jayne was a proud graduate of Muskegon Heights High School and dedicated 34 years to her career at Howmet. In her spare time, she found joy in the simple thrill of scratching off lottery tickets daily, and for the past 30 years, she cherished the family tradition of visiting the casino on New Year's Eve. These celebrations brought her family together, creating lasting memories. She also looked forward to the monthly cousin gatherings on her father's side and the special dinners with her mother's side, where laughter and love filled the room. Jayne’s warm spirit and commitment to her family will always be remembered fondly.
Although Jayne never had children of her own, she poured her love and affection into her nieces and nephews, treating them as if they were her own. Her generous spirit extended to her beloved furry companions, Sam, Bear, and Tanna, whom she cherished just as deeply.
Jayne leaves behind a broken heart, remembered by her only sister, Sally (James) Becklin, and brother-in-law Bob Spiers. She is also survived by five nieces: Melissa (James) Posvistak, Tammy Blastick, Trisha (Troy) Cressman, Heather (Jim) Clark, and Heidi (Jeff) Jones, as well as one nephew, Rodney (Rhonda Prell) McMiller.
Jayne is reunited in spirit with her parents, Eldon and Gussie Frisbie, her sisters Deanna Kay Powles and Pat Spiers, and her niece Shawn Vannatter.
Our family wants to express our heartfelt gratitude to Life Circles and their incredible staff. They have been a source of love and compassion during this difficult time, truly becoming a part of our family. In honoring Jayne's wishes, cremation has taken place, and we will not be holding any services at this time. Thank you for your understanding and support.
