Maricela Corona

She was born on October 14, 1976 to Juan and Louisa Prieto in Iowa City, Iowa. She grew up in the Muskegon area and was a graduate of Oakridge High School. She was a sassy and energetic women who was never on time. She loved spending time with her family – especially her grandchildren. Maricela enjoyed shopping and cooking and always had her door open to help others. She was a loving and warm hearted person who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by: children, Angelica (Arri) Corona, Israel (Amari) Corona, and Cylvia (Travis) Corona, Alejandro Corona, Gabriel Corona, Angelo Corona, Dionicia Corona; grandchildren, Jasiyah, Carlos, Kyson, Maya, Millie, Mateo, Ezurya, and Angelo Jr.; brothers, Juan Prieto, Alejandro Prieto, Danny Prieto, and Adrian Prieto; sister, Jill Wiggins; parents, Juan and Louise Prieto; grandmother, Maria Alvarado; and best friends, Denise Delgado and Katrina.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 11:00am at Ever Rest Funeral Home & Chapel., Muskegon, MI 49442. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the start of the service, also at the Funeral Home.
