Marie was born June 26, 1938, in Muskegon, Michigan to George and Anna Palmer. She was the 10th child of 13. Marie was a homemaker and in her younger years she worked at several restaurants and at Pearless Novelty as a punch press operator. She was a caregiver for six years and did it out of the goodness of her heart. She was a wonderful, loving, caring, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved golfing, garage saling, gardening, cooking, decorating the house for Christmas, playing cards and dominos with her friends at Fairway Farms and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her best and loved her the most.
Marie is survived by: her husband of 64 years, Donald; daughters, Sheryl Mitchell (Frank Trainor), Tammy (Steve) Warmington, and Teresa (Rick) Harper; grandchildren, Ryan (Erin) Townsend, Nicholas (Kati) Townsend, Jordan Frye, Christopher (Amanda) Langlois; Brad (Takeya) Knash, Donny (Stacey) Knash, and Paige (Dan) Semelbauer; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Fisher; sister-in-law, Linda Palmer; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-great grandchildren, step grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.
Special thank you to granddaughter Stacey Knash for being a special care-giver.
