Michael Douglas Kohler of Muskegon, Michigan passed away on May 8, 2013 after a long battle with cancer. He was born May 26, 1967 in Ashland, Ohio to Jerry and Sara Kohler. Michael worked for 25 years in the building trades. For the past ten years he has resided in Muskegon. He loved fishing, boating and spending time on Lake Michigan.
He is survived by his partner of 15 years, Julia Brewer of Muskegon, his daughter Kendra Kohler, his mother Sara Kohler of Estero, Florida his sister Sherilee (Tom)Bertellotti of McCordsville, IN, his paternal Grandmother Marie Kohler of Mansfield, OH, and many other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his father Jerry Kohler of Spring Lake, Michigan.
