Michael H. “Mike” Porth, age 61 passed away on June 21, 2012. He was born in Muskegon to Leo and Izora Porth. Mike is survived by his mother, Izora, his life partner, Sally Parker; brother, Thomas (Margie) Porth; sister, Sue (Carrie Clark) Johnson; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, along with Kurt, Shawn and Amos. He worked as a chef for several Muskegon area restaurants and was an avid card player. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life and family gathering will be held today, June 24, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel.
