I love Mr. Gee.  What an impact he made on my life!  He was my Sunday School teacher in 5th grade and really brought Bible stories to life.  He also led the Awana program at church.  He encouraged me to hide God's Word in my heart through the years.  One year he took me out to get a new bike as a reward.  Mr. Gee loved God's Word.  I remember he told us the greatest motivation for becoming a good reader was that we would be able to read the Word of God on our own.  And he modeled that for us. I watched him become a better reader so that he could read and study God's Word.  Every time he stood up and read Scripture at church I would remember that the best reason to become a good reader was to read the Word of God.  I've lived away for over 30 years now, but every time we visited Muskegon Mr. Gee would greet me with a hug and a smile, and he would ask about our family and our ministry.  What an example of a life well-lived!  I can imagine him meeting our Savior and hearing the words "Well Done!" 

My whole childhood days are fond memories of this great man…church and awana events to sleepovers with Laura. Gentle soul who never raised his voice…raised amazing kids who learned to respect and love gently. Passionate about his beliefs and always made you feel you could always trust and count of him. Seen him through out the summer at estate sales…always there for a hug. Sad to see him leave because his love for his family will be missed but we all know his home now is where he will still serve and show love until you all meet again. Hope all your cherished memories out way your pain..sending you hugs my my deepest condolences to you all 

My family had the pleasure of seeing Mr. Gee every time him and Nancy came down to Florida to visit Ray, Kristi and the boys.  He will truly be missed.

Awe… I will always remember him saying, “oh Lord” when he prayed.  As I type this I can hear the unique way he said it.  It use to make me giggle when I was little.  I’m going to miss hugs from Mr. Gee. ❤️

Orville and Nancy always felt like part of our family, Orville become friends with  our brother Dewey  when they were in school . When he married Nancy they always stay friends with our family.  We always told him  he was a brother to our family  also Nancy.  Sue pollock

Oh how bittersweet this news…
Bitter; because He will be greatly missed.  Mr Gee was such a godly encouragement to my family. I grew up with his kind and generous example of a life lived for Jesus. That only grew dearer as he set that same example for my children.   He treasured and trusted  Gods Word and encouraged others to do the same.  He encouraged my children to spread that gospel to the nations.   He encouraged my daughter to never underestimate the power of a smile.
I lived out of town but whenever I visited Sheridan Drive he made sure to greet me with a hug and a smile.  I will miss him so!

Sweet, because I know he was greeted in heaven by the Savior he loved, with a hug and a smile ~ “well done, good and faithful servant”.

Mr. Gee was a true man of God! He was my fifth grade Sunday school teacher and led our AWANA program for years. He always encouraged us to read and memorize the Word of God. I’ll never forget how hard he worked to learn to read as an adult. He showed by example how important it was to be able to read the Bible on your own! It was always special when he would stand and read a verse from the Bible. Even though I’ve lived away for years, Mr. Gee always greeted me with a hug when I came back for a visit.  And his hugs were special! I will miss him dearly – but what peace it gives to know he was so ready to meet his Savior! Continued prayers for all of the family.  ❤️

The most sincere, faithful, and kindest man I’ve been able to meet! So many great bowling memories! You will be deeply missed by so many people, rest easy Orville. Thoughts are with the family!

Orville was one of the best men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. My sincere condolences to his family.

I am from Muskegon now of Florida. I have a memory from my child hood to share. I went to Frobel school and Orville's sister Eleveln was a student in my fourth or fifth grade class. 
I had a crush on her and I still to this day have a photo we shared of her in my my memory book.

It was my pleasure to have worked with such a God fearing man as Orville for most of his tenure at Consumers. He will surely be missed. May our Lord comfort his family.

Orville  was a Godly man and he will be greatly missed. As a part of Sheridan Drive Baptist where our family got to know him and his family, to being an up the road neighbor who would walk and wave always. We will miss the times he would stop to talk.  Please know we are praying for all the family.

Mr. Gee encouraged me to love and serve Jesus...and to not take myself too seriously. His gentle teasing (oh, I think those sweet rolls made me sick) communicated that he noticed and valued individuals. When listening to memory work, he required accuracy and when asking questions, he expected sincerity.  Through suffering, Mr. Gee recognized the brevity of life. He was confident in Christ's death and resurrection and concerned for his family's and friends' faith. I mourn the loss of a spiritual cheerleader and brother in Christ.  May the Lord be your Shepherd, Mrs. Gee and family, as you walk through this valley. 

Orville was my fathers long time friend and I remember sitting listening to their lengthy conversations about work and their interests. This saddens me to hear of his passing. Prayers and sympathy to those who love him.
