

Pattie was a 1980 graduate of Muskegon High School. She proudly served her country in the United States Army. After she was honorably discharged, she held several different careers throughout her life. Most notably, working for McGovern's catering and being the manager of the Twin Lake Family Dollar for 14 years. In her free time, Pattie loved being outdoors and planting in her garden. Even if she was just sitting on her back porch or camping with family and hanging out around the fire, you could always find her outside. She also liked traveling, listening to music, and watching NASCAR. Pattie was a selfless woman who would always do what she could to help others. She was a strong-willed woman who never let anything stand in her way. Her tender heart and warm spirit will live on the hearts of all who knew her for years to come.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, John and Grace DeWitt; and her parents-in-law, John and Sharon Tyler.
She is survived by: husband of 33 years, Michael Connelly; children, Joshua Cornelson, Steven Goodrich, and Katie (Donavon Potter) Connelly; grandchildren, Novalee, Nashton, Maddox, and Graham; sisters, Marianne (Mike) Mieczkowski, and Mary Jean (Richard) Chini; several nieces and nephews; as well as, her loving puppy dogs, Ranger and Shadow.
A Memorial Service with Military Honors, officiated by Pastor Carlos Ramos, will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 6:00 pm, at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, 1783 E. Keating Ave, Muskegon, MI 49442. The family will welcome guests one hour prior to the start of the service. Pattie will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
