Patrick Charles McWhinnie

Patrick enjoyed living life with his family and his animals, especially his sidekick, Trudy. They always made him laugh with their antics and goofy behavior. He was a big Willie Nelson fan and enjoyed hunting at Pine Point and Mini Pond as well as canoeing, horseback riding, and long car rides to Duck Lake or Hesperia. Patrick loved living in the country where he could watch the wildlife, the farm animals, and pick lilacs for his beautiful wife.

He spent lots of time riding through the two-tracks looking for mushrooms and spending time with his wife and friends riding their horses. He was a proud Navy Veteran and was a leader in the Sea Scouts with his good friend, Gary Phipps. His proudest moment was at the births of his children, Alison, Todd, and Jason.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Kaiya McWhinnie.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jackie; children, Alison Ketchum (Jeff), Todd McWhinnie (Kim), and Jason McWhinnie; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
