Peggy was born in Manistee, MI on November 19, 1949, to Donald and Mary (Pete) McCauley. She graduated from Orchard View High School in 1969; retired from the Hackley Hospice House as a Nurse Aid and was an active member of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians and the Fruitport Eagles. She enjoyed crafting, camping, road trips, riding motorcycles with her lady friends, spending time with her family and friends, watching her grandson Jordan’s many demo derbies, dancing, gardening, and spending time with her beloved dog Bella.
Peggy was preceded in death by her Father Donald McCauley, Brother Robert McCauley, Sister Susan Dansby, and Brother Thomas McCauley.
Surviving Peggy is her Mother Mary McCauley; Sister-in-Law Michele (Thomas) McCauley; Sons Donald (Lacey) Douglas; Robert (Tiffany Gillespie) Douglas; Grandchildren, Jordan, Kailee, and Hannah, Great-Grandchild Everleigh, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family beginning at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 with a service to immediately follow at 11:00 AM at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, 1783 E. Keating Ave., Muskegon.
