Prudencio Gonzalez

Prudencio Gonzalez, age 100, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, June 21, 2026. He lived a long and remarkable life, touching the hearts of all who knew him through his kindness, wisdom, and devotion to his family. His memory will be cherished by his loved ones and all whose lives he enriched throughout his century of life.

Prudencio lived a long and fulfilling life. He was a hardworking man who loved his family dearly. His family was everything to him, and he made it a priority to create and cherish countless memories with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends. He was known for his dedication, strength, and loving nature. Prudencio's presence brought comfort and joy to those around him, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Though he is no longer with us, the love, lessons, and memories he shared will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

Prudencio leaves behind his children: Joyce (Junior) Sherril, Marcy Schinbeck, Ella Gonzalez, Heladio Salinas, Poncho Gonzalez, Darlene Gonzalez, Karen (Mark) Lampman, Kathie (Kevin) Humphrey, Angelina, Devin, and Timothy Brown, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is reunited with his wife, as well as Lisa, Geraldine Zeller, and Jerome Gonzalez, family, and friends.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 3 PM to 6 PM at Ever Rest Funeral Home, located at 1783 E Keating Avenue, Muskegon, Michigan. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 1 PM. The family will be receiving friends and family one hour prior to the service, from 12 PM to 1 PM, with burial to follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens at 2 PM.
