Robert James Faucher, age 91, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 in Muskegon. He was born April 19, 1928 in Muskegon to the late William and Lydia (Schertenlieb) Faucher. On February 3, 1951 he married the love of his life Barbra Jean (Dykema). Together they shared 68 wonderful years and she survives. Bob served in the US Army during WWII and received the Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation medal. He retired from S.D. Warren Company in 1989. Bob was a lifetime member of the VFW Lodge #8846 and a lifetime member of Eagles Aries Lodge #668 of Muskegon. He loved traveling with his wife and camping with his family. Bob had a heart of gold and always had a smile on his face. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Charlotte (Kevin) Clements and Linda (Don) Hough, one son, Gary (Deb) Faucher, and 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild and a sister-in-law Beverly Dykema. Also preceding in death were two sisters, one brother and a brother-n-law. The family would like to thank the staff at the Poppen House for their excellent care and support and special thank you to Bob Jackson. There will be a Celebration of Life service on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at the VFW Lodge #8846 in North Muskegon from 12:00 p.m-3:00 p.m. with full military honors at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Harbor Hospice of Muskegon.
