Bob was born January 2, 1935, the son of Claude and Nellie Kramer. He served his country proudly in the US Army. Following his time in the service, he married the former Joan Dyke. Together they enjoyed over 60 years of marriage. Bob worked for Shaw Walker and retired from the company with 37 years of service. He was a member of Ottawa Center Chapel, the Muskegon Eagles, and enjoyed spending time together with some close friends he served with in the military. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, fishing, and yard sales.
He was a strong-willed, spontaneous, unpredictable, adventurous man who will be deeply missed.
Bob is survived by: his wife, Joan; children, Greg (Kathy) Kramer; and Sue (Rich) Genz; grandchildren, Breanna (Sean Kremers) Kramer; Keanna Kramer, Felicia (Travis Sale) Grigsby; Megan Genz, and Brittney (Corey) Phelps; great-grandchildren, Lilly, Owen, and Trip; and several cousins, aunts, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Clarence; and sister, Betty Swanson.
A memorial service with military honors will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Ottawa Center Chapel 8991 Leonard Street Coopersville. Burial will take place at a later date at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
