

Ronnie was born in Paragould, Arkansas, to Lawson and Mary (Price) Nichols, and was raised in Muskegon, Michigan. He attended Mona View Schools and was known for his hardworking nature throughout his life. Ronnie dedicated many years of service to CWC and worked in construction for much of his career.
On September 17, 2017, Ronnie and Diane McAllister embarked on their beautiful journey of marriage, cherishing countless moments together, including the heartfelt restoration of her childhood home. Ronnie’s generosity knew no bounds; he was the kind of man who would always put everything aside to lend a helping hand to a friend in need. His kindness and selflessness have left a profound impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Ronnie had an authentic passion for watching TV, especially when it involved thrilling outdoor adventures. He found immense joy in the beauty of nature, treasuring the precious memories he created with his family on trips to places like Mackinac Island, the Upper Peninsula, and Traverse City. His deep love for his beloved pets was heartwarming, and his unwavering devotion to his wife, Diane, was truly inspiring; he cherished her above all else. Ronnie also had a flair for cooking and took great pride in nurturing his garden, finding solace in both activities.
He leaves behind his wife, Diane Nichols; children, David (Niña) Nichols, Renee (Paul) Kurdziel, and Tracy (Jim) Diaugustino; grandchildren, Alexandria, Samantha, Madeleine,Elizabeth, Kharey, Kyle, Paul, Tiffani, Taylor, Destinee, Brittany, Paytyn, and Jaylaynn; great-grandchildren, Olive, Violet, Maci, Owen, Ezrah, and Kara; brothers Bill (Sherry) Nichols and Fred Nichols; and sister Diane; and neighbor Willa. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Lawson and Mary Nichols; his sister, Bonnie; and good friends, Gene and Betty Johnson.
A heartfelt celebration of Ronnie's life is scheduled for Wednesday, January 15, 2025. The event will take place at Ever Rest Funeral Home, where family and friends are invited to gather together in remembrance and honor. The visitation will begin at 12:00 PM and will last until 1:00 PM, providing an opportunity for attendees to share their memories and offer condolences. The memorial service will commence at 1:00 PM, led by Pastor Carlos Ramos, who will share comforting words and reflections on Ronnie's life and the impact he has had on those around him. Everyone is welcome to join in this meaningful occasion to celebrate a life well-lived.
