Stanley was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1967-69 where he received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was a member of the VFW Post 3195, the American Legion Post 9, the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 31, and the Honor Guards. He was an out-going person that loved life and had a passion for hunting, fishing, hockey, and loved coaching his daughter Mary Ann’s softball team. There was not one thing he would not do to help someone out and was loved by everyone.
Family always came first for Carolyn. She loved traveling and spending time with Stanley, loved hockey and went to as many games as she could. She enjoyed football and NASCAR racing also. Carolyn was a very loving mother, and along with Stanley, would do anything for their daughter.
Stanley and Carolyn were married August 4, 1979, and celebrated 41 years of marriage together.
They were preceded in death by Stanley’s parents (John and Lucille Sidock); siblings John, Shirley, Betty, Joseph, Pearl, and Emily; and Carolyn’s parents (Arthur and Busteanna Cisler);
They are survived by their daughter Mary Ann Sidock; Carolyn’s siblings Cheryl Cisler, Jean Cisler, Arthur (Sylvia) Cisler; Stanley’s sister-in-law Barb Sidock; many nieces, nephews, counsins, extended family and friends.
A celebration of Stanley and Carolyn’s is being planned for the Spring of 2021.
