

Tara was born and raised in Muskegon, Michigan, to William and Ginger Beebe Kolberg , Tara’s spirit and resilience will forever inspire those who knew her.
Tara's journey began at Oakridge and Ravenna public schools, where her vibrant spirit first shone. She married her beloved Thomas Tice on February 9, 2010, and together they crafted a beautiful family filled with love and warmth. Tara was not only a loving presence but also a spirited soul who brought joy to everyone around her. Her heart of gold reflected her unwavering devotion to her family, and she was a fierce protector of those she held dear.
An artist at heart, Tara found joy in arts and crafts, and her passion was evident in every creation. She cherished shopping trips and, above all, the time spent with her family, embracing every moment with her signature warmth. Known for being the biggest hugger, Tara made sure that those she loved felt cherished and valued. Her legacy of love and connection will always be remembered by those fortunate enough to know her.
Tara's loving memory will forever be cherished by her devoted mother, Ginger, and her caring bonus dad, Don Beckwith. She is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas Tice, and her two precious daughters, Sierra (Jack) Wortelboer and Skyler (Michael) McRae. Tara's warmth and spirit will also be deeply missed by her sisters, Jackie (Tim) Smith and Brittany Kolberg, as well as her brother, Todd (Stacey) Aldred. Her delightful grandson, Leland Wortelboer, and Michael (MJ) Mcrae along with her treasured nieces and nephews—Remington Smith, Gunner Smith, Layla Kravako, Hazel Kravako, Haley Aldred, and Hannah Aldred—will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
In her passing, Tara has been joyfully reunited with her father, William Lyle Kolberg, and her cherished sister, Bethany Kolberg, alongside her loving maternal grandparents, George and Bertha Beebe, and her paternal grandparents, Orville "Walt" and Georgia Kolberg, Rozella Kolberg.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ever Rest Funeral Home & Chapel. A service will follow on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 1:00 PM at White Lake Congregational United Church of Christ, located at 1809 South Mears, Whitehall, Michigan. The service will be officiated by Rev. Donna Morton.
