Mr. Thomas Flint, of Fruitland Township/ Muskegon, age 70, passed away on January 2, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Judy; children, Timothy (Pamela) Flint, Leane Flint, Diane (Andy) Wentworth, Ron (Kelly) Compton, Phil (Denise) Compton, David (Margie) Compton, Paula Compton, Kristine (Aaron) Brown; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Anne, Kathy and Sue. In the early 1960's Tom worked for the Fruitport Police Department. He was retired from GM and was a longtime member of the UAW. After retirement he enjoyed being a gentleman farmer. He was a longtime member of Fruitland Covenant Church and Fruitport Congregational Church. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Friday one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Fruitland Covenant Church, Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence or Sanctuary at the Oaks.
