Thomas Richard Miesch

Thomas R. Miesch, age 67 of Muskegon, passed away suddenly on September 27, 2013. Thomas was a proud veteran, having served in Vietnam in the United States Air Force, and a member of VFW Post 446. Thomas loved fishing and hunting. He was also a fan of the Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers. Thomas is survived by his loving wife of eight years, Amy Miesch; son, Brian Miesch; step-daughter, Tina (Willard) Hall; step-son, Robert (Dawn) Dewey Jr.; seven grandchildren; sister, Patricia Bartholowmew; brothers: Joe (Cindy) Miesch, Peter Miesch; several nieces and nephews; good friends: Robert (Spongebob) Sluyter and his wife, Glenda, Wade and Jill. Thomas was preceded in death by both parents, Bernard Miesch, Sr. and Celestine (Savickas); brother, Bernard (Butch) Miesch, Jr. A memorial service will take place on Monday, September 30, 2013 at 11:00am at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, 1783 E. Keating Ave., Muskegon. Memorial contributions may be made to the West Michigan Veteran’s Inc.
