A proud graduate of Fruitport High School, Class of 1983, Todd went on to attend Ferris State University, where he pursued a degree in engineering. A hardworking and devoted father, Todd raised a close-knit family of five children and found deep joy in their lives and accomplishments. Todd was an enthusiastic outdoorsman, deeply passionate about the beauty and thrill of the natural world. He reveled in the excitement of hunting in the dense forests of Michigan, often sharing stories of his adventures while sitting around a crackling campfire. Fishing was another beloved pastime, as he found tranquility while casting lines into serene lakes and reeling in the day's catch. Camping trips became unforgettable family traditions, where they went up to the family cabin.
A fervent supporter of Michigan sports, particularly football, Todd never missed a game. He would don his team’s colors with pride. Todd was also a talented carpenter, making furniture for his children. Known for his unwavering simplicity, strength of character, and fierce independence, Todd cherished the relationships he built over the years. He held his lifelong friendships with classmates close. Additionally, he cherished fishing trips with his family up to Little Vermilion Lake, Ontario.
Todd is survived by his five beloved children: Ryan (Brandi) Aldridge, Adam (Brittany) Aldridge, Carly (Steven Hemric) Aldridge, Elijah Aldridge, and Maya Aldridge. He also leaves behind his father, Arthur Aldridge; sister, Jill (Jim) Fowler; and grandchildren: Kayla Aldridge, Maddison Aldridge, Mason Aldridge, and Soren Aldridge.
