Wayne Charles Arent

Wayne Charles Arent, 86, passed away on July 30, 2022 in Fremont, Michigan. Wayne was born on October 2, 1935 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Lawrence “Jim” and Thelma Arent. Wayne proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked for several years in the tool and Dye industry. In his younger years he was an avid runner and liked to go biking. He loved being outdoors and deer hunting. He loved to go camping with his grandchildren and spend time with his family. He had a sweet tooth, there was no cookie or pie that was safe when Wayne was around. He was a fun-loving independent man with a great sense of humor. Wayne will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Wayne was preceded in death by: parents, Lawrence and Thelma Arent; and daughter, Carla Arent. Wayne is survived by: daughter, Renee (Len) Burrington; grandchildren, Christy (Jason) Pruett, Zach (Kim) Burrington, Tessa (Kyle) Deuel, and Dani Damico; great grandchildren, Isaiah, Adam, Noah, Hannah, Jonah, Zeke, Elijah, Malachi, Irie, Millie, Hollis, Landon, and Connor; and sister, Delores (Bill) LeBaron. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 3pm – 7pm at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, 1783 E. Keating Ave. Muskegon, MI 49442.
