William “Bill” Davies, age 59 passed away on August 16, 2011. Bill is survived by his wife Barbara; four children, Joseph (Danielle), Sarah (Michael) Sobiechowski, Sacora Girard and Kayla Davies; two grandchildren, Dante’ and Madison; four sisters, Evelyn (Dan) Hulka, Connie (Dave) Pinder, Sharon Dungan, Sue (Jim) Byran; several nieces and nephews including, Jill and Sara Hulka; special friends, Butch and Betty Holman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Ella (Wright) Glasen. Bill was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam Era and was a member of VFW Post 446. A celebration of life service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Vineyard Christian Fellowship, 1128 Roberts Street, with Pastor Hal Hester officiating. Visitation will be held at Ever Rest Funeral Home on Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association or AgeWell Services.
