Dad was born in Montreal the third of four children. At age 17, he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy and served on the destroyer H.M.C.S. Qu’Appelle from 1942-1945.
In 1950, Dad met and fell in love with our mom Grace. Two children later, they moved from NDG to Boucherville, Quebec. In 1963, he was transferred to Bramalea, Ontario and child #3 arrived.
He was a long-standing member of the Free Masons since 1960.
After 40 years working for Nortel, dad retired and they moved to Nanaimo to enjoy their golden years. Square dancing, camping, traveling, cruises, fishing and making new friends filled their days.
These last few years his biggest joy was spending time and enjoying his grandkids and great grandkids.
Dad you had a wonderful life, you were respected and loved by all who met you.
