Donald Howard Whitta

Don will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Rick Whitta (Robyn Wells), and Glen Whitta (Susan Naylor); granddaughter, Jennifer Lindquist (Jasen); and great grandchildren, Danika, Calder and Sloane Lindquist; brother, Brian Whitta (Beverly); as well numerous other relatives and friends.

Don was predeceased by his loving wife of 55 years, Yvonne, and his parents, Ralph and Mabel Whitta.

Don was born and raised in Nanaimo, BC. He worked at Ocean Cement for over 40 years before he retired. He liked to stay busy, so he did maintenance for Island Concrete Finishing during his entire retirement. Don also had a Christmas Tree Farm on his property where he planted and sold trees for a number of years.

Don was an amazing and kind man with a huge heart. He was always the first to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Don will be forever remembered and greatly missed by all who knew him.
