Edwin Charles Redlin

Ed passed away peacefully at his home on July 8, 2013. He was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Patricia. He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 42 years, Karen, their three children, son Clinton (Michelle), daughters, Kari (Shaun) and Christy, four grandchildren, Lexi, Dominique, Emma and Nickolaus, brother in law John (Yvonne), sister in laws Linda (Albert), Marlene (Don) and Debbie (David), numerous Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, cousins and friends. Ed worked in the forest industry for over 40 years starting with MacMillan Bloedel and was the owner of Azmeth Forest Consultants. Ed was an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing, hunting and he also enjoyed producing his own maple syrup. Ed will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Justin Kingsley, Nanaimo Home Support and Victoria Cancer Clinic. A Celebration of Life will be held at the family home, 6184 Metral Drive, Nanaimo on Sunday, July 14, 2013 from noon until 3pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the BC Cancer Society.
