Eleanor Grace Olfert

She went peacefully Christmas Eve after a long illness. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband of 67 years. She was born in Saskatchewan and later married Jacob Olfert in 1953 and started their life together in Manitoba and eventually moved to Vancouver Island and remained in Nanaimo until their deaths. They have two daughters, Kim (Gary) and Lori (Gary); four grandchildren, Jennifer (Chad), Lindsay (Ashley), Brooke (Clay), and Dawn (Simon); five great grandchildren, Matthew, Kyla, Lily, Emma, Addison, and Macallum; one sister, Marleen; and many nieces and nephews. As requested by Eleanor there will be no service.
