Frank and I were neighbours in the early 90s and spent many happy times together.  I was still living in Calgary but spent many long weekends and most of my holidays in Nanoose with Frank. We were often out on the sea fishing and pulling up prawn traps by hand.  These were enjoyable times and Frank said on more than one occasion that, 'living by the sea and being able to go fishing was adding years to his life'. Frank was always gracious and on many occasions invited me to dinner.  His favourites treat was a stuffed egg plant which we enjoyed; often with some good wine. Frank also stored my little boat while I was away and for this and for his friendship I am grateful.

I would like to express my condolences to my former schoolmate, Patricia, and to her sister Kim (my former student) on the passing of their father.
