I knew Pete for many years and have nothing but respect for the man. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. My sympathies to the family.

In my 37 years in the papermaking industry, I've met, and worked with a wide variety of people; of all those people, only one was the most respected man I'd ever worked with; and that one person was Peter Griffiths. He conducted himself as a gentleman at all times, and was one of the most astute problem solvers of our time. I consider myself lucky to have had the opportunity of working with Peter.
