Len Harder lived a full life of 86 years with his family and the many friends he made along his journey. He was a man of strength and integrity who loved and was well loved by many. He was a man of faith who lived out his beliefs and served the church faithfully.
He was born in Bassano Alberta, and lived on a farm in Rosemary Alberta until his love of music started him on a different path. At 18 years of age he met the love of his life, Lydia Braul. They were married 4 years later, and together had 6 children.
Len was a musician, teacher, farmer, builder and a bus driver at various times throughout his life. Aside from being a family man, one of his greatest loves was performing in choirs and conducting choirs in the communites the family lived in. Although hearing loss prevented him from conducting until the end of his life, he would say he would be singing in choirs in heaven.
