It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Margaret (Peggy) Parkinson (nee McKillop), born in Vancouver BC May 13, 1925. Predeceased by her husband Roy and sisters Eileen and Lorraine, survived by her brother Jim McKillop and her sons Rick (Ellen), Brent (Penny) and Roy (Nancy) and grandchildren Roy, Rebecca, Kendall and Shawn. A memorial service will be held on June 5 at 1:00 pm at the First Memorial Funeral Chapel 1720 Bowen Rd, Nanaimo. Special thanks to the staff at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital palliative care unit. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC.
