

Mary was born September 23,1931 in High River, Alberta. She attended school in Pincher Creek, Alberta and graduated from Calgary Holy Cross Hospital Nursing School in 1953.
After raising a family of four she worked at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Vancouver, B.C.
She is survived by husband of 70 years, Ken, sister Eva Campbell and sister-in-law Barbara Crawford. She leaves behind her four children Sue (Rick), Steve (Robin), Mike (Tami) and David as well as 6 grandchildren Kimberley, Nicole, Natalie, Brett, Reiss and Amanda who will all miss her dearly. She was predeceased by her parents Watson (aka as Jim) and Margaret Crawford and brother Lyn. The love Mary had for family and friends was very heartfelt as was her faith.
She was an accomplished golfer, recording 2 holes in one, and an active curler. She twice won the B.C. Senior Ladies Curling Championship. In 1986 she skipped a rink in Vancouver. In 1988 she played third for a Nanaimo team and won the distinction of being the all-star third in the Canadian Senior Ladies Finals in Ontario.
The family wish to express their profound thanks to the staff at Nanaimo Seniors Village where Mary spent over 6 years, and to Dr Nick Schulson for their excellent care.
