Mona Kathryn Jurczyk

Mona Kathryn Jurczyk, born in Holyhead, North Wales, United Kingdom in 1935 passed away in the presence of family on March 21, 2024 at the age of 89 years. She was predeceased by her loving husband Rolf Georg Horst Jurczyk and survived by her 2 sons Stefan (Lise), Karl (wife Yum) and 5 grandchildren Cody, Octavia, Chloe, Max and Erik.

Mona was a nurse in London, England and Director of Chimo Personal Distress Intervention Services in Richmond, British Columbia until retirement. After retirement Mona moved from Richmond to Lantzville on Vancouver Island, British Columbia where she spent her time enjoying her passions for reading, painting, photography, friends, nature and her garden, and the love for her pets. Mona was a compassionate, wise, and loving woman who brought laughter and joy to her family and friends. She will be sorely missed.
