Nancy was always a cheerful math teacher (I had her for Gr. 12 Math at Central in 59/60) and toured the province giving workshops on the first computer-type programs (came to my first school in Cranbrook in 1963/64).

She was a supporter of our Retired Teachers Association, and attended our Luncheons regularly, until she moved.  I remember she was one of the first to have laser surgery on her eyes, and could see the mountains again...it was like a miracle.

I last talked to her several months ago at her nursing home in Nanaimo, still as cheerful and bright as ever.  Good memories.
