Sherrie Diane (Rogers) Tymchuk

Sherrie passed away peacefully with family by her side on January 24, 2025 in Nanaimo, BC.

Sherrie is survived by her husband Blair, her daughter Chloe, her father John Patrick, her brother Clint, her sister Heather (Dwayne) and nieces Annecia and Jasmine. She is predeceased by her mother Audrey Diane.

Sherrie was born in Victoria, BC. As a child, her family moved frequently with her father’s career at BC Parks. Her childhood was spread across various communities throughout BC; Wells Grey, Houston, Robson, and Clearwater were a few. Eventually settling in Kamloops, she met her husband Blair in 2003. Upon their engagement, Sherrie moved to Nanaimo in 2004 and married in 2005. They welcomed their daughter Chloe in 2007.

Sherrie possessed a tireless drive, boundless energy, fierce work ethic and dedication to both her work and her family. She made every room she entered, better. Her co-workers described her as “the kindest person to ever walk these floors”. She excelled at motherhood, she truly adored being “Chloe’s Mom.”

Sherrie lived her life demonstrating how to live with passion, courage, strength and dignity. And to face death exactly the same way. Those whose lives she touched were better for it. She is truly and deeply missed.

In respecting Sherrie’s wishes she has been cremated. A private, family celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
