He is survived by his loving wife Carmen Barclay Hamm, Daughter Amanda Reynolds, Son Andrew Hamm, Stepdaughter Falon Renshaw, Stepson Mathew Barclay (Kristal Harm) and five grandchildren; Konnor, Shayden, Logan, Violet & Maisie.
Stan was the oldest of eight children and is survived by his siblings Peggy, Doug (Robynn), Donna, Bob (Maureen), Mary, Jeff (Connie), Dave (Margaret).
Stan loved his family and friends deeply and would lend a hand or ear anytime. He loved to tell stories, drive fast cars, enjoyed a variety of music, he was a great marksman and certified air pistol coach. Stan would shoot any gun and was active in the black powder division of Nanaimo Fish and Game.
Stan loved the outdoors and spent a lot of time hunting, fishing, hiking, boating, and camping. Many will also remember Stan as their favourite mechanic as he was a master auto technician (AKA gear head).
Stan also had a passion for fashion and often dressed in ways his friends and family refer to as "eccentric". He was a confident, happy and adventurous person who was fun to be around, he definitely made the world a better place.
A classic Stanism was "Goosey" in exchange for something that was excellent. Stanley Hamm, you were a Super Goosey human and we will remember you always.
The Family of the late Stan Hamm wishes to thank everyone for their kind expressions of sympathy, prayers and all acts of kindness extended to them during their hour of bereavement.
