Mom, 
I Love You with all my heart and I know you are in a much better place now.  Thinking of you on Mother's Day was hard because you were no long just a plane ride away.  I am so glad we were able to talk recently and seeing you last week was great because I was able to tell you “I Love You” in-person!!
Almost 50 years ago you made a choice that set my life in motion and I Thank You for that!!  You raise 6 of us and we are ALL different BUT no one can every say there isn't a part of you in all of us.!!  You showed us how to stand on our feet and do “whatever” it takes to keep moving forward; you made sure we knew no one was better than us and where we grew up did not define who we are! 
I love the way any time we talk about you we always said “mommy” this or “mommy” that!!  Grown men and women calling their mother… MOMMY!!  It shows how you are imbedded into our hearts.
Thank you for the part of me that is the part of you.  Sometimes I question if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but one thing is for sure, that part of me has always made me strong and drives me to succeed in life!

To Anna's family
I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing.  She was a great woman, with such a big heart.  I only wish I had the chance to talk to her one more time.  You are in my thoughts and in
my prayers, I know she is not suffering any more and God has another angel to watch over you.  I love you Anna...we had some fun times and great talks!!

I will miss you.I am glad that I got to have you in my life for as long as I did.You will be forever in my heart and always in my prayers. Words cannot express the sorrow I felt upon learning of your mother's demise.  I am so sorry for your loss. My deepest condolences and prayers are with you all at this time. 
I know this past year or more has been very difficult for Anna  with hardly being able to breathe and having other major medical problems she encountered. I   know now she is in a better place with no more pain and suffering.

Even though I can't be at her service in person, I will be there in spirit for my long time friend, Anna.

Mom, I love you into eternity. Our first Mother' Day without you was truly an awakening. I spent the day thinking of my childhood and how you as a single Mom taught all of your 6 children good manners, respect, and sound moral values. 

We grew up with little money but you always found a way to have a roof over us, food on the table, and clothing. You made sure we were in church on Sundays and that each of us had a quarter for the basket. You were never easy on us and I now know that was to prepare us for the real world when you would not be there for us. I struggle to raise 2 children having so many advantages that you did not. It truly amazes me how you raised 6. 

So Mom, I want to thank you for life and all that you taught me. Please sleep well until we are reunited. I love you!
