He bravely fought cancer for the past 13 years. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan, August 5, 1937.
Bud is survived by his wife Arthea, of 58 years; sons, Mark (Barb)
Fessenden and Kurt (Sharon) Brimmer; daughter, Marci (Stan) Lindsey; grandchildren, Tami, Austin, Jason, Kristie,
Amanda, and KJ; great-grandson, Emerson; brother Ray; and sisters, Virginia and Sharon.
He was preceded in death by grandson, Justin Lindsey, sister Eleanor, and brother Mel.
He graduated from Hart High School and Michigan State with a Floriculture Degree.
He was owner of Gene's 5th Ave Florist in Naples, since 1974.
A Service in Witness of the Resurrection and Celebration of Bud’s life was held at Rabun Gap Presbyterian Church in Rabun Gap, GA on August 18, 2018.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, November 11th, 2018 at 4:00pm at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens (525 111th Ave. N. Naples, FL 34108).
