Art is survived by his lovely bride and partner of 70 years, Marilyn. Children, Mark (Candy), Cindy (John). Grandchildren Dustin, Tim, Casey, Kathryn, Allie and Reka. Great Grandchildren: Jake, Grady, Harper, P.J., Abby, Maddie, Beau, Louie, Easton and baby Cauble coming soon.
Art grew up on the family farm in Buckman, MN. He was the only one of five siblings to graduate from college. Art went on to get his law degree from William Mitchell Law School. Art and Marilyn traveled much of the world in their retirement. Art was a true renaissance man, who could talk intelligently on almost any subject, be it farming, real estate, geography of any country, history, hunting, fishing, cooking or finance, to name a few. He was especially proud of his service to his country in WWII as a Merchant Marine where he received the Merchant Marine Congressional Medal of Honor. Art was also very successful in business working as a real estate attorney in the banking industry. He later started a finance company with Marilyn, eventually selling it to a European banking firm. He will be dearly missed by all his friends and family. RIP Dad!
