Ashby O Gilkeson

Ashby Olden Gilkeson beloved father born February 23, 1927 in Cornstalk, WV passed away May 24, 2012 in Naples, Florida at age 85. He served in the United States Navy Seabees, He worked at Aeronca Aircraft Corporation, Middletown Ohio and 46 years with Garland and Garland Marine Construction / Hydraulic Hose and Equipment Co. in Naples Florida and he was a master woodcrafter.

He is survived by his children Nancy Gilkeson Moore (Jack), Barbara Gilkeson Sanders (Jerry), Evelyn Gilkeson Evans (Frank), Ashby (Rocky) Gilkeson (Denise), and Shirley Gilkeson.

Grandchildren – Raquel Sauls, Michelle Sanders, Doug Sanders, Frankie Evans, Dale Evans, Tiffany Taylor, Ashby Gilkeson II , and Calley Gilkeson and 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Sisters Opal Gilkeson McClung and Oretha Gilkeson McClung. Proceeded in death by his Mother Maudest Fisher Gilkeson, Father Orion Mitford Gilkeson, brother Arlou, and twin brother Arlle.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Avow Hospice, Naples Florida.
