Barbara was born on August 24, 1938 in Fond du Lac, WI to Lester and Myra Bostwick. Barbara graduated high school from Fort Atkinson, WI and attended St. Agnes School of Nursing. On Sept. 19, 1959 she married Clarence ‘Bert’ Kalupy.
She was a devoted Mother and beloved "Grammie" of 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was actively involved in her children’s lives from Cub Scout Leader to hockey coach, she volunteered for it all. Her servant’s heart and volunteer work continued in the Collier County Schools, St. William Catholic Church and Naples Senior Center.
She is survived by her loving children, Sara (Nick) Weimer, Tony (Terri) Kalupy, Linda (Reed) Leidle, Andy Kalupy, Stacey (Lane) Pille and Romie Davidson; her Grandchildren Jacob (Anne) Weimer, Brittany (Zach) Armstrong, Lauren Buzay, Blake Buzay, Kacey Buzay, Abigail Kalupy, Ryan Leidle, Trace Davidson, Peyton Davidson and Romie Kalupy, Caitlin Kalupy, Christian (Jami) Kalupy, and Shawn Weimer; great grandchildren Maeve Weimer, Charlotte Kalupy and Ford Armstrong.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence “Bert” Kalupy, her parents Myra and Lester Bostwick and her brother Tom Bostwick.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at St. William Catholic Church on
August 14, 2023 at 9am for a gathering and 10am for funeral mass.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that contributions be made to Avow hospice of Naples, FL.
